Serco and Proud Make a difference every day. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Engineering Coordinator for University Education, based in Nooedwijk Netherlands. Main Responsibilities The post Sounding Rockets and Stratospheric Balloons student projects focuses on both the REXUSBEXUS Rocket and Balloon Experiment for University Students and Fly a Rocket! programmes. With regards to the latter the postholder shall Prepare and execute the publication for the Call for Applications, as well as the review and evaluations of the individual applicants. Liaise with the partner organisations to deliver the online training component of this programme Within both programmes the post holder will also supervise the preparation and conduct of rocket and balloon launch campaigns. Within both programmes the postholder shall work in coordination with Education Office colleagues and programme partners to assess and further develop these recurring programmes. The post holder shall also deliver training during project meetings and programmes specific training events on theme such as project management and system engineering. Occasional support for other ESA Academy activities, including deliverydevelopment of training courses may also be required. The Ideal Candidate The right candidate will bring University degree at least at MSc level in Space Systems Engineering, or equivalent Good fluency in the use of English as a working language The post holder shall be well organised, shall be able to show good spirit of initiative, and shall own good skills and experience in the management of space projects Shall have good skills to coordinate effectively work contributions from several different parties, and shall possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders ESA, the involved international partners, industry, academia and students Knowledge of the university student programmes conducted by ESAs Education Office is an asset Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law.
