HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Project Controller to support our customer in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Project Controller Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be working at ESAs European Space Research and Technology Centre ESAESTEC. You will have the following responsibilities Support assigned projects in the implementation of industrial activities Support the preparation of work breakdown structures, work packages and schedule Participate in the evaluation of proposals and change documents Assist in the preparation of tender documents and support contractual negotiations with industry Controlling of assigned contracts with respect to financial commitments, cost, schedule, progress, invoicing, industrial return Financial, schedule and performance report generation and maintenance Planning and reporting on procurement, cost, schedule, industrial return, workforce and risks Assist in the definition and implementation of planning and control procedures Support the preparation of the financial contract commitment and the data entry of the milestone payment plans Collect, enter, process and update all financial, schedule and georeturn data Planning and updating of the Industrial Return distribution Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in finance management or other relevant field Several years experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of project accounting Highly proficient in MS Office software, SAP experience would be an asset Previous experience at ESA would be an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and the ability to cope with pressure Excellent communication and organisational skills Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This is a temporary position for approximately 6 months. We are looking for candidates who are available from July 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
