For one of our aerospace customers in the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Project Lead. Its a very ambitious organization which works with cutting edge technologies and is rapidly growing. They have their own clean rooms and test facilities and deliver their products to all the wellknown space agencies and commercial companies worldwide. The PL will be responsible for all aspects of projects and project teams, throughout the whole project life cycle. Timely realization of the core projects is of the utmost importance and is the focus and responsibility of the project lead. The project lead reports to the product manager. Tasks and Responsibilities In this position you are controlling the primary process. This means that you are responsible for a wide variety of activities You are directly managing the project teams and act as pivot point for the team members You are directly responsible for the resource planning, all customer contact, project definition and quality and profitability of the projects In tenders and proposals you give input in the fields of management and organizational processes, by providing a specific project management plan andor the desired volume quotation You manage customer requirements in line with the contractually agreed objectives in the field of deliveries and quality and risk management The PL analyses and improves project performance in line with the product and business objectives The PL provides monthly Specific Project Progress Report The PL is directly responsible for a high quality performance of the projects The PL is responsible for the Review Data Packages SRR, PDR and CDR. Experience and education You have a good insight and knowledge of business processes w.r.t. preparation, planning, organization and quality You are familiar with engineering techniques and commonly used materials, tools and production methods You have a proactive, problem solving and resultsoriented attitude and are capable of directing, steering and motivating a group of specialists You have a customeroriented attitude and you will be able to translate complex customer requirements into concrete plans and thereby demonstrate understanding of the interests and political forces within and outside the organization You master the English language in speech and writing and you have excellent communication and presentation skills.
