For permanent employment the Predevelopment, Studies Proposals department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a Projectmanager in Predevelopment for Earth Observation Missions mfd Your Tasks Definition and management of projects Lead of proposals ESA, DLR, EC, commercial customers, etc. Evaluate and decide upon concepts of Earth Observations Missions phase AB1 In cooperation with Earth Observation Missions project managers, definition of project targets in coordination with the customer, team partners and company management communication of project targets to all involved stakeholders Take over the leadership of the Predevelopment Department Earth Observation Missions with a disciplinary lead of a team with 9 employees Identify, evaluate and initiate improvements for the Predevelopment Earth Observation Missions department Seek solutions for strategical, planning and organizational issues together with the immediate superior and implement these within the department Earth Observation Analyze and evaluate customer opportunities in the Predevelopment for Earth Observation Missions domain and derive a strategy for their implementation Organisation and delegation of tasks and responsibilities to the department staff Support of the department staff in their skill development Your Qualifications Diploma or Master in aerospace engineering or a comparable qualification Experience in research and development projects, especially in definition phases Experience in lead of project teams, work force planning Willingness to shape future processes and organization and drive change Profound experience in early phase project and proposals of Earth Observation System satellites and payloads EOmarket and stakeholder knowledge Experience in team lead, ability to work in teams, team motivation Strong emphasis on quality and cost Relevant experience in a leadershipmanagement position, ideally within OHB group Experiences in heterogeneous, virtualmatrix and multinational environment Excellent management skills, solution orientation, work organization, conflict management Excellent conceptual and analytical skills Welldeveloped communication and leadership skills Proven skills in project management are a plus Proven moderation and communication skills are a plus Fluency in spoken and written English and German
