Your Tasks Propulsion subsystem engineer for the development of a new propulsion system propulsion system technologies Coordination of the requirements, technical interfaces and operational constraints within the satellite platform, definition and development of the propellant subsystem, resulting in generation of technical documentation, e.g. specifications, plans, technical notes Planning, coordination and control of subsystem design and analysis activities Definition of the verification philosophy on subsystem and component levels and specification of test requirements for the propulsion subsystem testing. Technical management of procurement activities for subsystem and equipment from suppliers, with support by the central Supply Chain Management organization within OHB System Your Qualifications Degree in aerospace engineering, space technology, physics or comparable qualification Some years of professional experience in space industry as propulsion subsystem engineer or in similar positions are an asset Expertise in System Engineering and Requirements Engineering Experience with Propulsion Systems Monopropellant or Electric Propulsion is an asset Excellent conceptual and analytical skills Accustomed to work in teams with welldeveloped communication skills Capability of managing subcontractors Ideally, experience in agency or commercial satellite development projects Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills are advantageous We offer A dynamic and motivated international team High degree of scope for creativity, independence and selfinitiative Flat hierarchies and a huge grade of flexibility Attractive benefits such as flexible work time, sport activities...
