Our work is invaluable for weather forecasting and understanding the changing climate, and this role will grow increasingly important with the next generations of our systems. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Competence Area Manager to work with all parts of our organisation, engaging our teams to embed quality into everything we do. You will join a forward thinking, dynamic management team and be responsible for managing Quality Assurance in our business. Collaborating with our Directors, the Head of Quality Management, our project teams and business partners, you will encourage them to focus on their ways of working and to find more efficient solutions to the challenges they face in developing and delivering our missions, along with mitigating risks. Using ISO 9000 and ECSSEN standards, you will be proactive supporting and developing your teams and colleagues to identifying quality improvements and providing business critical skills. All applicants must be EUMETSAT member state nationals with a working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. You also require some knowledge of French.
