Your responsibilities will include Assuring the conformity of materials metalic and plastic material, mechanical parts and production, integration and verification processes with the customers, the companies and common standardised requirements. Assuring conformance to the customer requirements and to general company requirements, in particular EN91002009 Assuring that continuous improvement is implemented in projects, including following and collection of lessons learned Supporting improvement of the Astrium ST quality management system, including cooperation with other quality departments within Astrium PMP Tasks Evaluation of mechanical parts, materials and processes for their usability on spacecrafts Analysis of system specifications for requirements on mechanical parts, materials and processes Establishment of PMP specifications compliant with project requirements EstablishmentInitiation respectively supportrelease of qualification and test programs for mechanical parts, materials and processes Initiationevaluationanalysis of material test results Elaboration of new test methods for materials and processes for spacecraft application Analysis of specifications, standards, manufacturing and test specifications for compliance with project related requirements Evaluation of design proposals versus selection of mechanical parts, materials and processes Establishment of project related Preferred PMP lists based on available project requirements Establishment and release of Declared PMP lists Establishment and release of system PMP lists Prime function Implementation of the approval cycle for mechanical parts, materials and processes Definitioncheck of incoming inspection procedures Performance of PMP based design release AEN Support to analysis of problems and NRBs Maintenance and improvement of the product assurance knowhow concerning PMP Support to establishmentrelease of standards Support to establishment and actualisation of the PMP data base Enlargement of the knowledge baseline concerning new materials and technologies within and outside the organizational unit Contribution in efficiency aspects Procurement assurance Evaluation of acceptancecertification for manufacturers and suppliers Release of procurement orders BANF with the definition of required QS agreements for the supplied goods and the supplier Participation in root cause analysis and handling of nonconformances, preparation of waivers and deviations Supporting proposal activities, risk management including risk avoidance and mitigation Partizipation in the alert process Support to the establishment of PA plans Evaluation of offers Support and advise other disciplines Surveille and instruction of lower tier contractors concerning implementation of project related requirements on mechanical parts, materials and processes selection, application, qualification Support to studies, to audits at contractors We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in engineering or equivalent Several years of experience in quality management Material knowledge behaviour, treatment, manufacturing, joining, glueing A fluent negotiation level of German and English If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com.
