HE Space is a successful international space company. For 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a RAMS Engineer to support our customer in Germany. RAMS Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. As part of the as part of the Central Engineering Unit, you will have the following responsibilities Perform all required Project RAM Analyses Functional Analysis, Risk Analysis, Reliability Availability and Maintainability Analysis, FMECA, FTA, etc. Perform all required Project Safety activities Safety assessments, production of Hazardous Item Lists, Product Liability process support, Safety Submission process support Perform tradeoffs and redundancy optimization studies Perform HardwareSoftware Interaction Analysis Work in coengineering mode with Project System Team to define the FDIR concept, monitoring and recovery actions Provide RAMS data package for reviews and interfacing with customer Support the monitoring and control of equipments or subsystems subcontractors Participate in processes and methods harmonization and improvement Participate in RD activities and proposal bids Manage working time and budgets in accordance with project and department requirements. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Space engineering Electronics, Electrical, Thermal, Mechanical, Operations, Software with a specific focus on Electronics Several years of experience in RAMS FDIR engineering processes methods and tools within the SpaceAerospace domain incl. all activities mentioned above Willingness to travel work for short periods in Europe Fluency in English German would be an asset. This job is located in Friedrichshafen. We are looking for candidates who are available from May 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter.
