We are currently looking for an RF Payloads Technician to support our customer in the Netherlands. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the RF Payloads Division at ESAESTEC, you will have the following responsibilities Assist with the integration, configuration and running of RF test equipment andor RF test setups employed in evaluating the performance of RF subsystems or instruments for space application such as Atomic Clocks and Time and Frequency Test beds Navigation payloads Linear and Nonlinear characterisation of subsystemsdevices Life limited RF payload equipment PIM performance, multipactor performance and high power evaluation Remote sensing space born radar Calibration transponders TTC and Communication test beds Development of software using VEE andor LabView for automated testing, control and monitoring of RF performance MICMMIC integration using dedicated equipment such as wire and ribbon bonding machines, eutectic die bonding and testing using on wafer probing station General laboratory support and maintenance of the Divisional equipment inventory list. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience A strong background in RF, microwave and millimetre wave technologies and experience in preparation of test setups, integration and testing of RF Equipment Active, Passive, timefrequency references and RF Payloads LabViewVee Pro and tools for automated testing, control and monitoring of RF performance Maintenance and calibration of general RF laboratory test equipment and instrumentation Good working knowledge of Thermal Vacuum chamberssystems is required Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
