We are currently looking for a Radio Navigation Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Radio Navigation Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Working in the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management DTEC at ESAESTEC you will provide support to the Galileo project team. In this role you will have the following responsibilities Participation in studies on radio navigation receivers design and techniques, in particular for Galileo Support to the Galileo project in the followon of industrial contracts for test and system receivers Support to the Galileo project for system performance evaluation Software hardware simulations and laboratory testing. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent Experience in the implementation, maintenance and operation of complex radio navigation simulation and test facilities for spacecraft, aircraft, maritime and land mobile applications Specific knowledge of radio navigation systems architecture and key performance parameters of GNSS Detailed knowledge of Rx algorithm at user level Experience in project management and industrial procurement Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Noordwijk. We are looking for candidates who are available from January 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter. Security clearance will be part of the selection process.
