Summary An exciting opportunity for an experienced Radio Navigation Engineer to work for Telespazio VEGA onsite at ESTEC. Objective To provide support to Radio Navigation Systems, Techniques and Technologies. Responsibilities Duties Duties will include but are not limited to Support to Navigation Projects e.g. EGNOS and GALILEO for signal design for current and future evolution of the systems Participation in studies supporting current and future radio navigation system definition andor analysis EGNOSGALILEO evolutions and GPS modernisation regarding system, signalsinspace design and ground processing Design, definition and follow up of industrial contract related to the procurement of GNSS receiver for infrastructure or user applications Design, definition and follow up of RD contract related to the procurement of GNSS future groundspace infrastructure receiver and user technology Support implementation, maintenance and operation of complex Radio Navigation simulation and test facilities for testing receivers and applications Support design and testing of Radio Navigation equipment Support End to End GALILEOEGNOS System Integration, Validation and Qualification activities in particular in the area of receiver and user equipment testing Qualifications Experience MSc in Telecom Engineering 4years of relevant industrial experience Experience on GNSS navigation performance and spacecraft system engineering Qualities Be able to function as part of a team A proactive and flexible attitude will be required An ability to work independently and to establish good working relations Further Details All roles within Telespazio VEGA have a defined closing date, however if a successful candidate is found before the advert expires the role will be closed early.
