Our Client, a successful player in the satellite systems consultancy field, is looking for a Remote Sensing Ground Segment System Engineer to join their team in Toulouse. In the frame of their Earth Observation EO activities, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineer to provide consultancy services, expertise and guidance for the design, development and integration of various Remote Sensing Ground Segment, ensuring contractors compliance to multimission Ground infrastructure specifications. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As a Remote Sensing Ground Segment Engineer, you will be required to work in a key role in supporting and growing our Clients EO business, which includes the requirements definition, system design development, procurement and construction monitoring support in the frame of their clients projects. Your responsibilities will include Being a proactive member of the consulting team, analyzing technical solution to comply with the requirements Reviewing and assessing the detailed design of the ground segment proposed solutions that includes definition of interfaces, technology stack and documentation Reviewing the development and testing plans Full and continuous monitoring of the Ground Segment assembly, integration and test campaign, assessing its performance against specifications and requirements Raising observation reports for bugsanomalies in the system requirements and the system being tested Preparing progress reports including risk assessment, and provide feedback on the manufacturing and integration progress of the Ground Segment. Skills Experience Engineering diploma or equivalent A minimum of 8 years of experience in Ground Segment engineering, procurement and management, preferably in the frame of Earth Observation ground segment design and AIT experience and ConOps Proven ability to understandsynthesize complex issues and appreciate conflicting interests Confident working directly with customers and subcontractors at technical level Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, presentation and customer interaction skills Proficiency with office computer equipment and software Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced office setting Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of French is an advantage Willingness and ability to travel as required Eligible to work in France.
