Requirements Engineer DOORS Category Information Technology City Leatherhead, Surrey, United Kingdom Position ID J12151281 Permanent Full Time Position Description The project requires graduate to support the DOORS Design Authority for the new developments of the Galileo full operational capability FOC, a contract won in mid2011. Being in the Design AuthorityTeam, this role also gets involved in technical investigations to help resolve performance issues and other in depth investigations, so a technical tasks and mind is also required. This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in the development of Galileo, Europes satellite navigation system. The position is for a role on the Galileo Key Management function KMF Project in the Design Authority team. The project is starting a series of enhancements to provide the Full Operational capability for the Galileo satellite navigation programme. The Galileo KMFs manage the encryption keys used in the navigation services. Candidates should be capable of quickly picking up new concepts as the system is large and complicated, working to high standards of quality, and to agreed timescales either independently or as part of a team. The responsibilities will include Developing automation scripts for the DOORS requirements database under direction of DOORS manager Performing regular system administration of the DOORS requirement database Generating deliverable outputs from DOORS for customer datapacks Providing adhoc user support Producing data extracts to address adhoc investigations and support DA, AIVP and Development Teams Providing cover during DOORS manager absences Performing adhoc technical investigations Performing adhoc technical development testing activity Essential Skills General code development and scripting skills Quick learner OO Development skills Analytical skills Desirable Skills Lowlevel networking concepts Windows LinuxUnix Java Web application development Cryptographic Security experience. Requirements Management tools eg DOORS Configuration Management Subversion svn.
