ACS is looking for Requirements and Business Process Engineering Consultancy Support. ACS has more than 30 years experience in delivering solutions for Earth Observation satellites Ground Segments. Based in Rome, Italy and in Darmstadt, Germany, we delivered systems currently in operation in 20 countries worldwide and have a long record of successful projects carried out for ESA, EUMETSAT, EMSA and many other Space Agencies and Research Centres. ACS recently established German subsidiary ACSD aims at better serving our customers based in Darmstadt area. It is foreseen, that the key tasks will include as a minimum Interact with business users to understand their underlying needs and identify if an IT system would be suitable to meet their needs Collaborate with business users to understand their processes, suggest process improvements where possible and extract and define end user requirements Cooperate with the Information Management IM team in the Process Assurance and Management Support Division PRS, in particular when processes are assessed and addressed Document resulting processes in cooperation with the PRS IM team and end user requirements in suitable formats, e.g in process diagrams, use cases, wire frames or requirements specifications, etc Support the implementation team in defining the related technical requirements Facilitate business user interactions during implementation projects to ensure the solutions meet their needs Initiate and facilitate the acceptance and roll out phases of the system and subsequent pilot phases including preparation of user manuals or similar and delivering training to business users. In addition, the Key Person will provide support to Contribute to project planning and reporting Provide training on the various Information Management systems Contribute to the knowledge build up inside the team in business process and requirements engineering Support the improvement and documentation of business processes inside ICT Document tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT working practices. Mandatory skills University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent Extensive experience in eliciting and documenting end user requirements Extensive experience in analysing business processes, developevolve business processes in collaboration with business users and document them in suitable formats Handson experience of electronic workflow systems for managing information andor document management systems Experience in facilitating large and heterogeneous groups resulting in actionable outcomes Experience in preparing technical requirement specifications Experience in supporting acceptance and roll out activities for IT systems Experience in preparing user manuals or similar and deliver training for IT systems Good understanding of Information Management concepts and in particular document management principles and the related requirements Highly self motivated with a high level of autonomy in working arrangements and the ability to apply initiative and creativity in the execution of tasks Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn, able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customeroriented approach to interact with EUMETSAT personnel. The working language for the tasks and responsibilities is English EU national or valid work permit for Germany CV in Europass editable format Experience knowledge in any of the following areas shall be considered a distinct advantage Experience of workflows based on Oracle BPELSOA Suite 11g and BPMN from at least one of the following areas development and implementation, operations, maintenance and support or technical presales Experience of systems based on Oracle WebCenterContent from at least one of the following areas development and implementation, operations, maintenance and support or technical presales Experience in developing wire frames in collaboration with business users Experience in developing business cases Experience in PRINCE2 and ITIL Experience in SAP ERP A working knowledge of French
