JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks Looking for an individual with multidisciplinary skillset to support a number or large UK and European robotics projects GMV is currently participating in. Candidate will participate in the design and analysis of robotics systems, modelling and testing both hardware and software components. The role will include whole product lifecycle from understanding complex customer requirements and designing new components, validation and verification. The role will include simulator building, tailoring and setup and experience with field testing robotic systems. Participation in field testing and travel may be required as part of the role. Experience with interface definitions and usage of industry standard interfaces such as CAN bus or RS232 are desired. Knowledge of HLA optional. Experience with space robotics is desired. Qualifications Masters Degree in Computer ScienceComputer Engineering, Telecomunications or Aerospace Engineering Required knowledge Robotics Navigation and Control systems Robotics libraries MatlabSimulink CC and realtime systems WHAT DO WE OFFER?
