Ryder to Lease 100 Nat-Gas Trucks to Montreal-Based C.A.T.

Quebec-based Canadian American Transportation Inc. signed a lease agreement with Ryder System Inc. for 100 compressed natural gas sleeper tractors in what Ryder said was its largest natural-gas deal to date in North America. C.A.T., a truckload carrier in Coteau-du-Lac, becomes Ryder's first natural-gas lease customer in Canada and its largest single natural-gas vehicle customer to date.
