SW engineer Scientist Prototyping engineer

We are looking for a software engineer computer scientist with 3 or more yrs experience in the design, implementation, and testing of complex scientific algorithm software to work as a prototyping engineer joining our service team at our client EUMETSAT in Darmstadt. Experience if software development in C and Fortran in a UNIX Linux environment is required as well as data visualisation and analysis tools e.g. IDL, Python. Previous experience in the area of Aerosol andor Cloud extraction from satellite imagery, or experience with image processing algorithms in the area of retrieval would be a distinct advantage. Other distinct advantages would be experience in operational data processing andor other EUMETSAT developments. Pls apply asap by the 30th of April or contact us for more details.
