Description The main tasks are Lead of a small team of engineers technicians Work planning, organization and control Support for test procedure preparation as well as test report generation Test procedure execution on satellite flight hardware within a small test team Functional and reduced performance testing of all satellite subsystems, e.g. Attitude and Orbital Control Subsystem AOCS, Power Subsystem, Telemetry, Tracking and Command Subsystem and the navigation payload using onboard software Endtoend test of correct AOCS implementation i.e. polarity verification Delegated Quality Assurance tasks like e.g. Key Inspection Points, standard inspections, mating logs, asruns, procedure variations, NonConformanceReports, Problem Reports Profile A degree in electrical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification At least four years of experience in the satellite AIT or test field Knowledge of ECSS standards for testing and verification of software and hardware Knowledge about Spacecraft Central Checkout Systems CCS, preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 TOPE Experience in functional and performance testing and verification of satellite subsystems and onboard software High motivation and commitment to the project Used to tough project targets and challenges Welldeveloped communication skills and handson mentality Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and able to work under timepressure Fluency in spoken and written English EU citizenship or valid EU work permit Location Bremen, Germany Application deadline 31032013 If you are interested, please send your EUROPASS format CV as well as a Cover Letter to Lena Englander, Recruitment Manager at careeropportunitiesrheagroup.com Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
