The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop stateoftheart spacecraft communication antennas. He will be part of a design team or assume a supervisory role to perform RF analyses of antenna system performance, and use industry standard modeling tools e.g. TICRA to predict performance in the space environment, thermal and manufacturing distortion, scattering, as well as coupling with spacecraft and other antennas. He will also perform highpower capability assessments of antenna designs e.g. PIM Multipactor and conduct design and customer reviews internal design reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews PDR, Critical Design Reviews CDR to ensure that RF performance requirements are met. He will provide RF support during testing of antenna feed chains and antenna assemblies and will contribute to RD programs and proposals. Competencies Candidate must have a strong Electromagnetic microwave background and experience in the design of spacecraft antennas.
