ResponsibilitiesDuties The Engineer will provide support to the TPZVD ICT Engineering Team in the delivery of ICT engineering services to multiple clients. The work shall include analysis of the requirements design, integration, validation and documentation of ICT solutions handover to operations level 3 support for incidents and problems. QualificationsExperience A university degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent. At least 5 years experience as ICT Engineer. The successful candidate will have strong resultsoriented and planning capabilities, coupled with very good problemsolving skills and a pronounced customer focus. Applicants should have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives. Experience operating critical IT infrastructure environments, working in mixed operating system and database environments including Windows LinuxUnix, MS SQL Server, Oracle, ESX, etc., managing technical service transition, creation and maintenance of support documentation Essential Skills Experience in Kubernetes containerization Experience building, delivering, and managing containerbased solutions using technologies such as Docker Ability to recommend, design, build, and support complicated solutions at scale. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Icinga2 for both Hardware and application monitoring. Solid work experience with UnixLinux OSes RH, SLES and derivatives, system administration and customization Experience in Virtualization solutions in a HA Environment such as VMware ESX, VMware Clusters andor Cloud based solutions. Demonstrated ability to have completed complex technical projects. An advancedlevel command of English and an ability to present output in a clear, concise and understandable way, both orally and in writing Proactive and confident personality. Ability to manage assigned activitiestasks in line with deadlines. Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals. Desired Skills Good knowledge of enterprise serverdesktop hardware HPIBM. ITIL qualified or experience working within an ITIL framework Good knowledge of scripting languages bash, perl, awk and similar German language is a plus
