Senior IT Technician Deadline for applications ASAP Client and Location For a full time position, we are currently looking for an IT Support Technician for our client located in the Rome area, Italy. The core responsibility of the role is to handle the migration from Office to Office 365. In this role, your responsibilities will be mainly handling the migration from Office to Office 365 and also provide general support on location andor remotely in the following areas 1 Windows OS based client devices Windows 7, Windows 10 2 Mac OS based client devices 3 Mobile phones and smartphones 4 IBM Notes 5 Network and local printing facilities 6 Specific Corporate Applications 7 1st line networking LAN, WiFi 8 Approved client applications i.e. SAP, Adobe, MS Office, Encryption tools, etc.. Tasks and Responsibilities Migration from Office to Office 365 Providing 1st and 2nd line support in the areas described above Evaluating, categorizing, logging users requests, problems and proactively follow up these requests to ensure timely resolution of the Delivery and deployment of new workstations PCs laptops and maintenance and replacement of existing workstations, as well as other systems like mobile devices and printers Maintain, update and integrate Knowledge Base DB, procedures and working instructions Assisting and advising the user community in the technical and functional use of the Clients Corporate services and applications. Experience and Education A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or similar subject with at least 10 years of relevant experience Extensive experience in migration from Office to Office 365 Extensive experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on either Apple or Windows systems and on mobile platforms Knowledge of IBM notes client platform is an asset Proactive and customerfocused mindset Work experience in an international environment is considered an advantage Willingness to occasionally work outside regular office hours Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
