The Senior Payload Marketing Analyst provides recommendations and advice on costing decisionmaking strategies. The incumbent will develop, create and evolve tools to upgrade the quality, speed and efficiency. The incumbent will also provide analysis, guidance pricing support for proposals, bids, customer relationships and government organizations. DUTIES General Assist payload product manager in the preparation, review and approval of all payloads costing, including preparation of costing reports and GMSR. Assist in the preparation of commercial and financial proposals in cooperation with Contracts. Participate in production of business case Assist senior management by furnishing documentinformation Review RFPs to ensure financial contractual terms adhere to company policies and identify financial risk. Continually assess processes for improvements Reporting Analyse financials impacts of proposals as Economics benefits, direct and indirect costs Analyse proposal contracts for revenues and cost recognition principles Ensure the integrity, compliance and accuracy of costing AssistPrepares any specific customer requirements reports to support the cost and price proposal package DevelopCreate efficient tools to work easily and faster costing, business case and others Budget and forecast Attend and support business development forecast Support the preparation of the Annual business plan by coordinating and consolidating the forecast revenues and bookings Implement a better model to conciliate revenue recognition versus expected scope of work and distribution of labour Model, matrix and tools Implement, modify or enhance current costing model based on updated external and internal requirements. Liaise with various departments to understand, analyse, estimate and evolve the scope of work and all cost for executing various types of payload programs. Evolve the current payload costing model to enable rapid and accurate estimation for payloads Evolve the current payload costing metrics Create and maintain a database of all nonlabour cost estimates and historical quotes. Create and maintain a database of all previous MDA cost proposals. Create and maintain a database of real cost regarding payload works done at MDAM Create and maintain a payload market price analysis tool. Create a business case tool for MDA payloads that can be used for customer. REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 to 7 years of Cost Estimating Pricing and financial experience in a manufacturingengineering environment preferably in a High Tech environment. Advanced computer knowledge Essential for Excel, Database applications, and Word Must be able to function in a fastpace environment, committed to achieving deadlines, strong planning and analysis skills, good interpersonal skills, selfmotivated, demonstrates initiative, ability to multitask and particular attention to details. Undergraduate in Commerce or Engineering ideally Engineer Technical Background from a recognized institution.
