Siemens AG ties up with Cohda Wireless for smart infrastructure

German conglomerate Siemens AG has tied up with Australia's Cohda Wireless, the market leader in vehicle to infrastructure technology, a key research program of the Intelligent Transportation including driverless car, intelligent road signs and traffic lights. V2I devices are part of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems , which share information between vehicles and roadside infrastructure such as traffic lights.
