For our activities in the European Space Agency, Serco Nederland BV is seeking an AITAIV Coordination Engineer to support the SGEO Project. Initially at OHB, Bremen, Germany following the core platform integration and verification activities followed by the Spacecraft integration and verification, through to the launch campaign in CSG 2015 TBC, and then at the Environment test facilities, IAB GmbH, in Ottobrun, Germany for 68 months. Extended periods at the integrator site as well as support during the launch campaign are expected. You will be required to do occasional shift work, long hours, and work on weekends and holidays as required by the project schedule. You may be requested to be oncall. Experience in this is essential. Specific Task Overview Monitoring the AIT planning, preparation, execution and test results analysis of SmallGEO Spacecraft, through the attendance at daily, weekly and monthly meetings Providing daily briefing reports to the SmallGEO Project Manager andor his designated representatives about the progress of SmallGEO AG1 activities Providing weekly risk assessment reports on the SmallGEO AG1 integration and test flow progress, including proposed mitigation actions Providing specific planning support to OHB to optimize the SmallGEO AG1 AITAIV flow durations, the coordination of different tasks, the resolution of priority conflicts, the sizing and profiling of required resources and the definition of workaround solutions Participating at TRRs, PTRs, NRBs meetings in coordination with the ESA Project Team PA and Engineering Ensuring timely availability and review of integration and test procedures supported by the relevant discipline engineers in the ESA Project Team Monitoring the readiness and validation of GSE, test scripts and software needed for the platform and spacecraft verification programme Interfacing with the ESA customer representative to ensure and coordinate adequate presence on site in Bremen to support Project activities and reviews Supporting project reviews in hisher area of expertise as agreed with the customer Supporting as required AITAIV activities for the EDRS Project in coordination with the customer representative Providing monthly Progress Reports highlighting the work achieved, the problems areas encountered during the reporting period and the suggestions for possible solutions. These Progress Reports shall be reviewed and discussed at Progress meetings to be organised monthly. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants require an engineering degree electrical engineering, space system engineering, computer science or related discipline, MSc preferred Experience in Electrical and or functional verification of spacecraft system and subsystems Familiarity with the ECSS standards in verification and system engineering Experience in requirements engineering and verification engineering You will Be proactive and possess strong motivation to accomplish your daily work Possess the capability to work in team with in a multicultural environment Have the ability to multitask and set priorities You will be able to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in English, both spoken and written is required.
