We are currently looking for a Software Components Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Software Components Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Design, implementation, unit testingverification and documentation of technicalscientific software interfacing with external hardware Measurement Equipment, FPGA, realtime software, embedded software Development of automated test solution software Contributions to the system design and verification Participation in agile work organization and projectspecific reporting. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in software engineering or electrical engineering Several years of experience in the field of software development in smallmedium software projects including verificationvalidation campaigns Expert in objectoriented software development with JAVA, Eclipse RCP e4 Good experiences in CC, XML programming, and Domain Specific Language Technology based on xTextxBase Good experience in Logging, Storage and Replay Techniques using JAVAC Familiarity with in JNI Swig Familiarity with related programming languages, e.g. Python, Matlab, etc Good experience with virtualization techniques, e.g. VirtualBox, VMWare Good experience with version control GIT Familiarity with Continuous Integration using Jenkins, SonarQube SonarSource Familiarity with Agile development principles and tools, e.g. JIRA Expert in Linux programming with CentOS 67 RHEL Good experience in Client Server development Familiar with VISA protocol for programming of Measurement Equipment Understanding of space missions Earth observation and remote sensing and familiarity with ECSS standards would be an advantage Willingness of international travel within Europe Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
