Terma Space operates out of Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany, and the UK. Job description For our customer, ESAESTEC, we are seeking experienced Software Engineers to work at ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Responsibilities You will be assigned to Product Assurance and Safety Dept. TECQ IT Support Team within the Directorate of Technical and Quality Management. The aim of the team is to provide the TECQ Dept. workforce with effective, reliable and sustainable technology services in a timely and supportive manner. In particular the scope of IT support services cover Workstationslaptops and associated peripherals Active Directory Backup Storage Security Local networks Collaboration solutions Software analysis, development, maintenance and operation Design, development and maintenance of databases Software license management TECQ IT service desk User training and support Technical support for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment Adhoc services The focus of this position is software development aspects including software requirements analysis, development, verification, and deployment. Performing these tasks will require close collaboration with other corporate or proximity IT services. The position will be full time located at ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The foreseen start of work is October 2016. Qualifications Competencies The successful candidates shall have a Masters degree in Software Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years relevant working experience as well as Knowledge and experience of web applications design, development, operations, maintenance, and administration using well defined industry standards, and supportable techniques and technologies. Experience developing and maintaining applications in .NET, JAVA, SOAPREST services, XML and JavaScript technologies. Development and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint integrated applications. Experience using tools for source code management Git or Team Foundation Server. Experience in Agile development environments such as Scrum. Being a Certified Scrum Master is an asset. Knowledge and experience of system administration in a heterogeneous Web mastering, publishing of content and user management of web applications. Knowledge of, and possession of certifications in, ITIL v3 are a distinct advantage. What can Terma Offer?
