We are searching a Software Procurement Manager Aerospace mw with experiences with the software engineering standards of the European Space Agency. As a software procurement manager your responsibilities cover the procurement of software development services. With your expertise in software development and your knowhow of the aerospace industry you contribute essentially to the success of the project. From specification to acceptance, your are the highly qualified first pointofcontact for the procurement department. At the interfaces between software development and procurement your work closely with colleagues, internal customers, external suppliers and business partners and in doing so you ensure the availability of software services. For this purpose you are very familiar with the software engineering standards and the software life cycle process of the European Space Agency ESA. A special attention is paid to compliance and verification of quality standards. Your profile University level degree with a business or technical background, especially in the aerospace or supply chain sector Professional knowledge and experience with ESA software life cycle process 2 years experience in aerospace and software procurement processes Very good knowledge of software development and relevant quality management systems and certification requirements in the aerospace industry A strong team player with passion and a structured way of working Welldeveloped communication skills and handson targets An advanced level in German is required Your Responsibilities Collecting, consolidating and prioritizing of needs and requirements in close collaboration with specialist departments and RDTeams Creating detailed analyses considering different aspects and dimensions such as functionality, compatibility, feasibility, risks, cost savings, etc. Consolidation of results to business requirement specifications and adherence of the ESA software life cycle process Executing of procurement processes, conducting negotiations, verification and acceptance of software services Selection and close collaboration with external service providers, contractors and suppliers with particular focus on quality and process standards Coordination of internal and external resources and consultants for ensuring software service delivery in time, budget and quality Are you interested?
