Vitrociset Belgium is looking for a candidate for the position of Software QA and PA Engineer. The Software QA and PA Engineer supervises the software development process, designs and implements the tests for each module and performs the functional and systems level verification and validation. Please submit your application by EMAIL to Mr. JoseMaria Torres Torres, Software Chief Engineer to j.torresvitrocisetbelgium.com cc. to jobsvitrocisetbelgium.com Specific Tasks The Software QA and PA Engineer, who reports to the Project Managers and to the Software Chief Engineer, is assigned the next responsibilities Supervise and ensure that the software development process and the software products are compliant with the standards and requirements of each project. Active role in the definition and improvement of the software QA processes. Collaborate in the continuous improvement of the software development process of the company. Analyze the software requirements and specifications for testability, traceability and test coverage Prepare the Software Verification and Validation Plans SVVP. Design, implement, program and execute the tests according to the SVVPs. Document the design and execution of tests, their results and found issues. Validate the readiness of the tested deliverables. Fix or escalate the issues found during the product assurance and testing. Collaborate with the development team to find the root causes of the escalated issues. Collaborate in the preparation of project proposals, specifically in the issues related to software QA and PA. When needed, the QA and PA Engineer is also assigned tasks of software developer. When required, the candidate may endorse the role of Quality Manager Deputy. Specific Competence Requirements Master in Computer Science or equivalent. Solid experience in software quality and product assurance. Knowledge of QA methodologies and industry best practices. Experience in ISO 9001 certified environments. Solid experience in space related applications is a valuable asset. Working Knowledge of ECSS relevant to software development and quality assurance. Car driving license Testing related certificates such as the Foundation Certificate in Software Testing are much valued Analytical and critical thinking, good sense of organization of work Rigor, accuracy Quality oriented Reliability Strong collaboration skills, work as a team member Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Ability to work under pressure, to handle high level of workload Ability to work in a changing environment, openminded Fluent English. French is an asset. Computer skills Standard office tools MSProject Software testing frameworks such as Junit, Sonar, JaCoCo or TestNG Integrated development environment such as Eclipse Script writing for testing automation Objectoriented modelling with UML Knowledge Objectoriented programming Java and possibly C
