One of our Space Clients in Germany is looking for a Software QAPA Engineer. This is currently a long term consultancy position for a contract of 6 months, with the opportunity of becoming permanent for the right candidate. This position would suit an engineer with at least five years within the space industry. Your Tasks Definition and implementation of the SW quality program Definition and verfication of quality requirements for suppliers Monitoring of product quality during the complete SW life cycle Initiation and tracking of corrective actions in case of SW failures Surveillance and support of SW related verifications and validations Participation in internal and external milestone reviews SRR, PDR, CDR, Regular reporting towards customers and project management Your Qualifications A university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification Several years of experience in SW development Ideally, several years of professional experience in SW quality assurance in the space industry Experiences in application of SW process standards ECSS, ISOIEC 9126, ISO 12207, CMMi, ISO 15504, SPICE for Space Used to make decisions and communicate them towards suppliers and customers A skilled and confident negotiator with excellent communication skills Flexible, with a sense of responsibility, able to work independently Fluency in written and spoken English Willingness to travel
