The key person will integrate a team of software engineers under the direction of the project manager in CS GmbH. The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks Software development in JavaEclipse RCPWeb, Bug fixing Anomaly investigation and fixes implementation, Support to technical meetings with customers, Intensive test and validation activities, Onsite support for critical operation phases, Project Reporting. PROFILE Demonstrated experience of 4 years in software development or maintenance in the space environment is required for this position together with knowledge and experience in Mission Control system and data distribution. In particular experience in maintaining andor developing EDDS software would be a strong asset. Academic background M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Mathematician with high Computing Skills or Similar, At least 3 year experience in Java and web development. Technical skills Very good level in Java and Web programing, Good level in Apache Tomcat developments, Good Knowledge of Apache Ant, ActiveMQ Good Knowledge of MySQL, Good background in LinuxWindows environments, Good knowledge in configuration management such as SVN GIT, Knowledge in LDAP, FTP would be an advantage, Knowledge in scripting language, shell, Perl, Knowledge in test management such as HP Quality Centre, Knowledge in management of requirements e.g. DOORS, Knowledge of CCSDS standard and ECSS standard PUS would be valuable. Others skills Proficiency in English language, High level of flexibility, Good organisation skills, good communication skills, Ability to work autonomously in a challenging environment.
