Job Description What we offer if you join our amazing team Competitive Salary Corporate Benefits Package Exciting relocation package if applicable Company events Main Responsibilities As Spacecraft Operation Engineer Payload System you will join our future Flight Operation teams within Earth Observation service contract. We will be supporting different missions, so depending on your knowledge and expertise the specific mission will be offered during the recruitment campaign. You will concentrate your activities on the following Be in charge of operating the spacecraft Payload subsystem assigned as Prime and backup responsibilities on another subsystem to be defined depending on the specific mission Execution of operational procedures and special operations requests during all mission phases Operational Procedure generationupdate under the strict configuration control Support the execution of Ground Segment and Satellite testing, and take the role of Test Coordinator Be in charge of maintaining one or more elements of the Ground System infrastructure to be defined depending on the specific mission Daily monitoring of the space and ground segment elements of responsibility to assess health and performances, and identify trends and anomalies Participation and execution of the tasks related to the defined subsystem during the LEOP, Commissioning and End of Mission campaigns. Maintenance and generation of relevant FOS documentation Generation of requests for Mission Database updates and validation of such updates Provision of support to the Mission Planning process, where applicable including update of constraints, planning rules and validation of changes Provide Oncall support based on the defined rota Deliver technical inputs to the Team Coordinator in the required area Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring Proficient in Spacecraft System knowledge, with proven experience in operational environment Experience with the routine operations and relevant anomalies of satellite payload equipment is an asset Academic background on satellite instruments and sensors is an asset Experience within the ESOC environment is a strong asset Proficient knowledge in Mission Control system, Preparation, and execution of the ground segment test Experience in anomalies investigation and resolution, report generation Basic experience in SVT preparation and execution Excellent written and communication skills Previous experience in LEOP campaign as analyst or controller will be an asset Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law.
