Sri Lanka Apparel Exports in 1st Half 2018 (Country Report)

Sri Lanka's apparel exports have recovered in the first months of the year, mostly due to a surge in sales to continental Europe, whereas shipments to the U.K. and the United States have however fallen. After Cambodia and Myanmar, Sri Lanka is now threatened by EU's Commission to lose its duty-free access if the current political crisis results in a deterioration of human rights in the country.
