Sri Lanka Apparel Exports in 2nd Quarter 2019 (Quarterly Report)

2019-10-24 20:13:29| EmergingTextiles.com

Apparel exports from Sri Lanka have significantly increased this year, due to a surge of knit clothing shipments to the European Union and the Unit States, amid sharply rising unit prices. The demand for a sustainable production should continue supporting Sri Lankan exports. Our statistical series provides a comprehensive view of Sri Lanka's clothing exports in the 2nd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. Data also include US and EU clothing imports from Sri Lanka per product category, whereas a comprehensive benchmark comparison between Sri Lanka and other countries of origin is also released. All data are available for download.
