IT WASN'T TOO LONG ago that delivering a free, reliable public Wi-Fi service was the main concern for coffee shops and their customers. Now, with the rise of powerful devices such as the iPhone and Galaxy S5, which carry more compute power than an average laptop did five years ago, the main worry these days for people out and about is keeping them powered long enough to last a full day.
