STRUCTURAL ENGINEER, PROGRAM DIRECTORATE 1 ASSIGNMENT Program Directorate, Systems Division, Environment and Structures Department. Oversee validation of the launcherpayload mechanical and electrical interfaces by carrying out fitchecksshock tests at the satellite manufacturers. Provide technical support to the Marketing Sales directorate, and to other departments in the Program directorate, concerning structures, the launcher environment and vehicle systems. 2 JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the department manager, you will be responsible for the following Within the scope of ensuring launcherpayload compatibility Oversee the specification, execution and validation of production analyses designed to approve the compatibility of payloads with Arianespace launcher environments, concerning mechanical, acoustic, thermal and radioelectric aspects. Monitor dynamic tests of payloads designed to demonstrate dynamic compatibility with the flight environment. Within the scope of adapting launchers in the family to market requirements Oversee the technical and program management of developments concerning the upper composite of the launcher, designed to increase the flexibility and availability of launchers in the family concerning adapters, dispensers, etc., in line with performance, quality, deadline and cost reduction requirements. Oversee expert investigations of structures in the upper composite and the launcher as a whole analyses, specifications, design, qualification, production engineering. Support the Marketing Sales directorate in preparing proposals to be submitted concerning uppercomposite configurations for launchers in the family. Within the scope of launch campaigns conducted by Arianespace Act as upper composite technical authority during the combined launcherpayload operations phases. 3 CANDIDATE PROFILE You will have a degree from an engineering school or equivalent university French or European, with proven experience of at least five years in launcher environments and the development of systems that interface with payloads. Proven skills in project management within a European context. Ability to work in a team, to work without supervision, to propose solutions and meet commitments. Good knowledge of space programs in general and of Ariane, Soyuz andor Vega in particular, is highly recommended. You must have very good working knowledge of both French and English. Any knowledge of Russian would be an advantage. 4 LOCATION Evry suburb of Paris, with frequent travel in France and abroad.
