Student activists derail SF State University plan to sell soda "Pouring Rights"

Student efforts at San Francisco State University to halt the sale of soda " pouring rights " to the highest bidder have paid off. The university had intended to sell campus soda vending rights to one of the nation's two major soft drink brands, Coca-Cola or Pepsi, a deal both vendors were competing for.
