We are currently looking for a Subcontractor Manager to support our customer in Germany. Subcontractor Manager Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is one of the leading providers of optoelectronic instruments and systems for aerospace and security applications. You will have the following responsibilities Creation, analysis and regular updating of market reviews regarding potential subcontractors Consulting of departments concerning competence, existing products and technologies as well as technical feasibilities of established subcontractors Creation of tender specifications for subcontractors Proposal evaluation and selection of subcontractors for dedicated projects Negotiation with subcontractors concerning price, delivery dates, mode of payment and delivery and signing of contracts Coordination, administration and organization of subcontractors Secure costefficient and timely subcontracting in cooperation with the Project and Quality Management team Continuous reporting of project progress regarding subcontractors to the project manager Continuous recording, evaluation and visualization of subcontractors performance data. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Engineering or equivalent Extensive experience in project management of development projects involving multiple subcontractors Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment of companies and scientific institutions Assertive, good negotiation skills and experience in drafting of contracts Autonomous, independent and teamoriented Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as of a project planning tool Fluency in English is mandatory the knowledge of another European language will be an advantage.
