We are currently looking for a Sun Sensor System Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Sun Sensor System Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Part of a hightech European developer and manufacturer of satellite attitude and orbit control subsystems, propulsion and thermal subsystems and components, this role contain a wide variety of activities such as planning, customer interaction, supplier interaction, writing of design documentation as report, procedures specification and responsible for the testing coordination. You will have the following responsibilities The SE supports in preparing tenders to relation to technical issues The SE takes the technical responsibility of the project or the product, including schedule and budget aspect of the development activities The SE is responsible for the correct delivery of data packages for all steps in the development process from SRR until CDR The SE distributes technical information to assigned resources involved in the development phase and follows how these technical requirements are imbedded in the entire design The SE supports in preparing of purchase specifications including the indication of preferred suppliers list for flight hardware The SE develops and manages detailed documentation in which the technical and system knowledge are secured. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience BSc or MSc level education in the fields of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior system engineering position Strong interest in Satellite Attitude and Orbit Control subsystems Strong physical background, understanding electromechanical systems Strong mathematical skills for calibration data processing and performance modeling in Matlab Simulink Fluency in English is mandatory.
