It covers support to Satellite Qualification and Acceptance, from contract kickoff to launch, working in close cooperation with subsystem experts, such as payload and platform, as well as AIV and PA. The postholder will contribute in particular to the following areas Technical coherency of the satellite system design, including system level budgets, system performance analysis. Satellite System tradeoffs in design phase based on subsystem inputs Satellites acceptance campaign and more specifically system tests. Satellite qualificationacceptance test matrix and test flow execution. Technical discussion raised through design and acceptance reviews such as PDR, CDR, QAR, AR. Timely implementation of fix from inorbit shortcoming. Specific Competence Requirements A university degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline. The candidate shall have a good knowledge and proven experience in spacecraft systems in all project phases as well as in mission design and analysis. The candidate shall have demonstrated capabilities to work in space projects with complex technical and industrial interfaces. A minimum of 3 years experience in satellite activities and more specifically in satellite system activities. Applicants must be eligible to obtain security clearance by their national security administration. Being already in possession of security clearance will be considered an asset for the selection.
