Position Reference 960 To join and strengthen our team working on the increasing activities of the EO Platform PhiLab Engineering Support PLES Service with ESAESRIN, we are currently looking for a System Engineer to be based in our premises in Frascati, Italy. This varied role will allow you to combine different types of tasks and skills from a more technical aspect, in data management cloud computing to a more organisational aspect, with project management support responsibilities meeting reports, process followups and activities coordination, amongst others. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Provide system engineering support to the ESA Philab and Science Departments. Review Technical documentation and actively participate to support departments activities and projects. Support elaboration of SoWs with the provisioning of high level technical specifications. Support the technical analysis and monitoring of the implementations by industry. Participate at technical meetings and to communication meetings with the client either by providing contributes to the presentation or directly by presenting. Perform small developments for internal use. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or scientific discipline e.g. Space system engineering. Good general knowledge of earth observation and remote sensing. Strong and demonstrated background in system engineering and cloud platforms. Teamwork spirit. Good communication and technical writing skills with capabilities to synthesize. Good organization skills. Methodical and proactive, with initiative and capability to work autonomously. Problemsolving and creativityoriented attitude. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
