EADS For Astrium Space Transportation in Munich Ottobrunn we are looking for the Business Unit Launcher Propulsion in the department Production Programs Equipment for a System Engineer mf for the development activities for ARIANE 5 Upper Stage launcher components. In the frame of a new development for the Ariane 5 Upper Stage we are looking for a system engineer, who will be in charge of the component development and production transition for the next ARTIANE 5 Upper Stage. Your responsibilities will include Preselection of valve concepts and predimensioning of cryogenic hypergolic fluid systems and their subcomponents Assessment and selection of designconcept solutions together with other technical authorities Coordination and supervision of internal departments design, structure mechanics, work preparation, hardware integration, test execution, quality assurance Supervision and coordination of test activities, Test evaluation, analysis and synthesis of test and calculation results. Summary and presentation of results and programmatic progress towards the French customer Clarification and negotiation of further proceeding with the customer Technical preselection and supervision of subcontractors Control and supervision of existing valve programs for production accompanying test programs We are looking for candidates with the following skills Engineering study for at least 5 years aerospace or general engineering or comparable Good knowledge in fluid mechanic and general engineering Good knowledge and experience with electro mechanic and electro motoric actuator for valves Experience in Ariane 5 business area is desirable German and English fluent negotiation level, French skills would be appreciated Driving license If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com.
