For Astrium in Ottobrunn within the area Navigation Systems Engineering for the department Signal Engineering we are looking for a System Engineer mf Satellite Navigation. Your responsibilities will include Engineering for satellitebased navigation systems such as Galileo, GPS, EGNOS and GLONASS with a focus on navigation signals Participate in endtoend engineering of navigation systems and navigation signals during systems integration, verification, testing and operation Use modern communications engineering techniques and develop mathematical system verification tools Analyse measuring data and numerical signal performance simulations for the entire system e.g. linearnonlinear distortion, radio interference, multipath scattering Plan, implement and evaluate experimental investigations in the laboratory and in user environments Ability to lead investigations and to present results in report form, to customers and at conferences and specialist events We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering or similar with a focus on telecommunications and high frequency techniques Practical and theoretical background in communications engineering Proficiency in standard engineering software tools e.g. MATLAB, Simulink and basic knowledge of programming languages C, C Good level of written and spoken English, and negotiation level in German Ability to work within an international team with international customers ESA, EC TO APPLY click here
