This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at ESTEC in Noordwijk in The Netherlands. System and Software Engineer 1811014 Job Description We are looking for a System and Software Engineer for our client ESTEC. Your tasks shall include Support to the CubeSat InOrbit Demonstration projects from early definition phase to the implementation phase and launchoperations phase, or CubeSat technology development activities. Maintain interfaces with the relevant CubeSat prime contractorssystem integrators industryresearch institute for the assigned projects. Maintain interfaces with the ESA technical specialists for reviews and ad hoc support. Coordination of CubeSat project reviews. Follow up technical issues arising on the CubeSat projects and participate in risk reduction activities. Required Skills and Experience At least four years professional experience in a relevant position. Expert knowledge of CubeSat projects through the complete lifecycle, including mission designoperations, systems design AIV, subsystem technologiesproducts. Desirable Skills and Experience Knowledge ofexperience in the practical application of tailored engineeringquality standards to CubeSat projects would be an asset.
