Position Reference 660 We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to work for our client which is based in Belgium. Please note that this job can be done remotely. The European Union has the ambition to invest in the development of a new integrated, secure and autonomous space connectivity system. This system shall provide highspeed broadband availability throughout the territory of the European Union, as well as reliable, secure and costeffective governmental communication services that support protection of critical infrastructures, surveillance, external actions and crisis management, possibly including those based on quantum technologies. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Technical project management and consulting for the system definition study on secure satellite connectivity system. Act as a single point of contact with our client and manage a team of experts. Give strategic and technical advice on all aspects related to system implementation, service provision, governance, security, regulatory issues. Ensure that the technical solutions developed within the connectivity study are coherent and consistent with the other relevant external ongoing studies and projects GOVSATCOM hubs development, EuroQCI, ESA Next Generation satellite communication, SAGA. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in the relevant discipline. At least 10 years of experience in technical project management, ideally in satcom or telecom. At least 10 years of experience in system design and implementation. Experience in working with European institution. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Organised, dynamic and proactive. EU nationals.
