For their location in Ulm, Germany, we are looking for a Technical Solution Officer. The department develops customerspecific mobile radio solutions for public authorities and organizations with Security tasks BOS and operators of critical infrastructure. The main task is to ensure a smooth operation of the IT infrastructure Platform for system solutions. In detail, this includes Deployment, operation and maintenance of the virtual infrastructure Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and VMware ESXi Deployment, operation and maintenance of the storage and backup infrastructure Deployment, operation and maintainance of the management and deployment environment for the VMs Automated and manual deployment of individual VMs Development, operation and maintenance of virtual systems with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems Development, operation and maintenance of supporting network services such as DNS and NTP Error analysis and troubleshooting Analysis and optimization of the IT platform environment Documentation of the technical IT architecture. Requirements Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant subject Fluency in English and good knowledge of German Candidates must be eligible to work in EU Previous experience in telecommunications or related fields At least 3 years of experience with IT platform and virtual infrastructures At least 3 years of development and operation of complex storage solutions IP and FSCI At least 2 years of development and operation of backup solutions At least 2 years of development and operation of the network services DNS and NTP Knowledge of safety standards ISO 27001, BSI ITGrundschutz is desirable Specific IT skills required Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization RHEV and Red Hat Virtualization Manager RHVM VMware ESXi and VMware VSphere Management and Deployment Solutions Red Hat Cloudforms and Satellite Linux and Windows Server Additional skill Analytical, systematic thinking with the ability to solve problems High selfmotivation and resilience Strong service and rollout orientation Broad technical understanding Willingness to travel within Germany.
