Overview The post holder will be responsible for communicating the progress on the implementation of the Programmes and activities under the remit of the Technology Programme Office. In this context, the post holder will write, synthesise and edit articles and presentations with technical content. The post includes the following typical duties Writing, collecting, synthesising, editing and formatting technical articles and content for various media Shaping the Future website, Brochures, Official reports and presentations Supporting the daytoday implementation, improvement and management of the Shaping the Future website Ensuring publication of upto date information and documents on the External Sharepoint for Delegations Regularly interacting with technical officers and Programme management to ensure correctness consistency of information Regularly reviewing of the status of documents in the different archives and where appropriate registering this information in the Document Management System DMS Ensuring Process configuration controlled document changes and of papers relevant to the activities of the unit. Specific qualification requirements Senior level of technical and scientific writing skills and very good command of the English language orally and in particular in written. Excellent analytical, organisational and reporting skills, a proactive attitude to solving problems and a solid proficiency in IT tools. Ability to manage a large number of documents and to synthesize information. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and customer focus. Ability to work autonomously, effectively and cooperatively in a diverse and international team environment. Previous experience in synthesising and editing articles with technical content would be also an asset. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. Training to improve efficiency and provide strength for future career are of course included. Aurora assist with relocation both with support and financially.
