Specific Tasks The contractor will be responsible for the management of activities devoted to the integration, validation and test of the Quantum satellite payload. The candidates tasks will include Working with the Operator and the industrial team to ensure that the design and performance of the payload meets its specified requirements,including software, subsystem and unit performances Negotiation of test definition with Operator and Industrial team to develop, consolidate and finalise the payload verification approach in compliance with the agreed requirements Analysing predicted performance parameters of payload and monitoring these throughout the spacecraft AIT campaign Attendance and supervision of Payload integration and test activities at Communication Module and Spacecraft level at supplier premises to ensure on time and on quality delivery Supporting payload and payload equipment reviews, as well as supporting spacecraft level reviews and Configuration Control Boards for the disposition of relevant RFDsRFWs Active participation to NRBs related but not limited to the Quantum payload, its equipment and its interfaces with the spacecraft Management of test reports documentation Close and proactive communication with the rest of the Quantum Project team as well as with other Project Teams within the Telecommunications Satellite Programmes Department Regular reporting to the Quantum Payload Manager. Requirements Master degree from a recognized Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Electronics engineering, Telecommunication systems or related field. Experience is required in the following fields Design and development of one or more onboard RF equipment including LNAs, frequency converters, channel amplifiers, digital processor, multiplexers, filters, EPCs and satellite antennas Knowledge of payload flexibility technologies beam hopping, beam forming, flexible frequency converters , etc. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as very good well organized, method, tact, initiative, attention to detail, resourcefulness and to maintain effective working relationships. Reliability, rigor and initiative in the execution of the assigned work Proven sense of confidentiality Languages skills English, French is a plus other languages are appreciated
