The last Dillon bids farewell to Dillon's parent Kroeger

Although Cincinnati-based Kroger bought up Dillon's stores more than three decades ago, the company has always had a Dillon in an executive role. But when David Dillon 's career ends on Dec. 31, there will be no more Dillons in the grocery business, according to the paper.
