The successful candidate will work for a major ESA project. Heshe will be involved in the definition, analysis and verification of the thermal control system. Collaboration with other technical areas such as structural, electrical and propulsion is also foreseen in the scope of the project. The main duties for the Thermal Designer include Experience in passive and active thermal control systems for spacecraft and instruments Support thermal analysis team in the selection of thermal design solutions. Preliminary and detailed design of spacecraft thermal hardware Multi Layer Insulator, heaters, harness Selection and procurement of thermal flight and test hardware, thermal coatings and materials Define thermal and mechanical interfaces and create related drawings. Collaboration in the preparation of technical documentation. Qualifications Education University Degree or equivalent qualification in Physics or Aerospace Engineering Professional Experience Minimum 23 years experience of thermal designanalysis in aerospace industry Technical Requirements CAD modelling with CATIA V5 Language Skills English is a must Personal Skills Team work abilities Availability to travel abroad
