Which country has benefited from China's loss of market shares in the first quarter this year and in which categories? As usual, overall variations are hiding very different changes depending on product categories. Cambodia has been harmed by a rise of its unit prices whereas Vietnam has benefited from its price stability. South Asia has made strong gains, nevertheless, as usual triumphing in cotton apparel categories. Our series of statistical tables offer a comprehensive comparison of volume, value and unit value changes per origin and product category in first quarter 2019. The report also includes a detailed comparison of Chinese price trends vs other origins, through a series of indexes.
